It is a set of stories that offers a hand to the reader to guide them through several crises of identity where the main character has to come to terms with a part of themselves they were not prepared to confront.
Find a copy in the library Finding libraries that hold this gtl2grl It’s not easy to exercise this power when people’s harsh and mean words seem so gtl2grl inside our heads, but we have to believe that we have indeed the power to choose whether to listen to them or not, and whether to give them importance or not. I do think it’s great that there’s such a wide range of tones and themes, so there’s a little something for everyone here.

Mariah is terrified of being labeled as gay, even though she is. Understanding a little better about the character I was reading, I felt such warmth for Gr2lgrl in extending friendship, acceptance and as much understanding as she was able at the time to Andi, when no-one else would.
Then there’s a pretty great twist at the end. Vulnerability pervades the collection, as a young lesbian tries to muster up the grl22grl to attend her first GSA meeting in “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” or a daily flirtation via eye contact finally pushes a girl to approach her crush in “Feelings. Often related to girls who are either lesbian, transgender or merely questioning of their sexuality, these stories are short and straight to the point, and each feels incredibly authentic, giving the characters voices that any teen, straight, gay, or bi, can relate to.
Lists with This Book. Do you work in the book industry? I believe these stories are important and should be read, these battles should be recognized and respected. Peters wins the reader’s sympathy for these characters by allowing us to peer through these young people’s hearts as they navigate a disapproving world.
The writing seemed stilted, I couldn’t connect with grl2gl of the characters, and there seemed grl2rgl be too many extremes.
